COMMUNITY PROJECT FUNDING REQUESTS

All Community Project Funding requests must be submitted to our office by Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at 5PM ET.

Community Project Funding Requests (CPF)

The House Appropriations Committee announced a Community Project Funding initiative to allow Members of Congress to target federal funds towards projects and programs that will address the most significant needs facing the communities they represent. Only state, local, and tribal governments; publicly owned entities (e.g. ports, universities, PUDs, etc.); and eligible non-profits are permitted to request Community Project Funding.

Please note that non-profits are no longer eligible for Community Project Funding in the Economic Development Initiative (EDI) account.

Each project account must meet the specified eligibility and/or matching requirements. This is a highly competitive process as our office can only select a limited number of requests for submission to the Appropriations Committee. The Committee will ultimately decide which projects move forward.

*Disclaimer: All requests must comply with House Rules. Submission of your request does not create a binding commitment on any party nor a guarantee that any organization or program will be awarded funding from any federal agency through the appropriation process. Furthermore, the submission, review, and approval of applications for federal funding will be carried out consistent with federal agency rules and regulations. Failure to complete this form fully and provide sufficient information for review may nullify your request.
