Congressman Pat Ryan Announces Application Period for Community Project Funding

WASHINGTON, DC –  Today, Congressman Pat Ryan announced the launch of the Community Project Funding (CPF) process open to local governments and non-profits for Fiscal Year 2024 (FY24). The CPF process allows localities and non-profits to submit requests for direct federal funding for high-priority community projects in New York’s 18th Congressional District.

“The federal government works best when it works directly on behalf of the communities that it serves,” said Congressman Pat Ryan. “These community funded projects are a great opportunity to make sure this district’s priorities are met, and I look forward to delivering this much-needed funding to local governments and non-profits across the Hudson Valley.”

This initiative is coupled with stringent eligibility, ethics, and transparency guardrails that are outlined on the individual forms linked below. CPF will be available only to nonprofit organizations and to state, local, tribal, and territorial governments. In addition, only projects with evidence of strong support from the community will be considered, and evidence of community support and community need is required as part of your submission. This evidence can take the form of a letter from local stakeholders, inclusion on a state or local planning document, letters to the editor in local papers, and many more options discussed further below.
